We stayed in Mission B&B for 2 nights in early Jan and had the most fantastic stay! The hosts, Simon and Wendy, were very considerate, genuinely interested in us, and of course very welcoming. Our family of 5, in-laws, husband and a baby, had our own little side-wing which was perfect for us. The breakfast was one of the best during our whole NZ stay: fresh local fruits, wonderful juice, spreads and granola - all homemade (and of course toast, coffee etc and even every extra thing we asked for). And all served to the sunny deck looking over a beautiful garden! It was perfect. And then in the afternoon we had a beautiful set of " fivesies" waiting for us: great cheese and wine and tapas and all served with the company of the well travelled and very warm-hearted hosts. Loved it! Mission Estate is just around the corner and great for dinner!

 * HUGE Thank You  for your wonderful hospitality - for looking after us so well. It was very much appreciated. By yesterday afternoon it felt like we had been away from home for a week (it was only 24 hours!).Robert and Wendy, your breakfast was awesome! A whole new way to look at having breakfast! The fresh fruit was wonderful, the fruit drink was the absolute BEST, and of course the Canadian French Toast (with strawberries and bacon and maple syrup} was truly delicious … yum! We also really appreciated your excellent recommendations. The Mission restaurant was totally memorable for dinner and even the craft shop (that Wendy recommended) was wonderful. We had a lovely day exploring and found a number of places that we'd really like to go back to.There are lots of places we could have stayed, but YOU BOTH have made these couple of days truly unforgettable. So THANK YOU for making our holiday road trip so memorable.
